Vote YES for Strike Authorization at UPS

Attention Local 396 UPSers,

On Tuesday, May 8th, the Leadership of Teamsters Local 396 voted along with the overwhelming majority of UPS Teamster Local Unions across the country to approve conducting a strike authorization vote by our UPS Teamsters members.

You now have the opportunity to vote on whether to authorize a strike against UPS if necessary. The IBT will conduct a secret ballot vote on this issue.  You may cast your vote by telephone or internet through the BallotPoint Election Services voting system. You will receive a ballot packet by mail that will have an individual access code and instructions on how to use your access code to vote.

Local 396 recommends our members vote YES on the strike authorization against UPS. This will send a strong message to UPS during our ongoing negotiations that we are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure the best possible contract for our members.  Thanks for your support!

Ron Herrera, Secretary-Treasurer, Teamsters Local 396
