This morning, with over 71% of the workers voting yes, our Waste Management Moreno Valley Teamster Brothers and Sisters voted yes to ratify a new five year contract. Our new agreement provides our members with significantly reduced healthcare costs in addition to increased wages, pension contributions and better discipline language.
We would like to thank our bargaining committee members Santos Nuñez, Rene Gonzalez, Abraham Romo and Florentino Landey who worked hard with their Union negotiating team to secure a strong contract for their fellow workers.
